For a moment, top Nigerian singer, Timi Dakolo, forgot about the ongoing brouhaha with head pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Abiodun Fatoyinbo, to celebrate his wife, Busola’s birthday yesterday (Thursday).
The 38 years old Ghana-born Bayelsa native said on his beloved wife’s birthday that all he could think of was the love between him and Busola, nothing else (including the COZA controversy).
The winner of the inaugural season of Idols West Africa in 2007, called his celebrity photographer wife “My Kogi Stew” and spoke so glowingly about his love for her as wife and mother of his three children whom he married in 2012.
“Happy birthday to my wife @busoladakolo. You are a rare gem of a woman, I salute you for everything that you are. Most importantly your prayers in the middle of the night, I want to join you most times but that’s sleeps peak period, I will improve. This beauty we are making will never get ugly (thank you for letting me experience you). I should be shouting I love you but you already know that by now. Somedays when I see how beautiful and hot you look, I secretly tell myself *timi you are blessed* I salute you Busola. May God grant the secret petitions of your heart. My Kogi stew.”
Recall that Busola Dakolo (nee Amupitan), a graduate of geology and mineral resources from the University of Ilorin recently opened up on how the COZA pastor raped her while she was a minor and since then, the controversy has raged on.
Many people wish she should be celebrating her birthday everyday so her husband and she would be “forgetting” the rape matter and give the “Funky Pastor” breathing space.
