Akinloye Oyeniyi on the demise of former spokesperson of Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin

Odumakin.

"Always there for all and the nation.

"The last we spoke was after publication of my analysis on the last constitutional amendment, we talked and I told him I had got a similar call earlier from Chief Femi Falana SAN. That's the kind of person he's, simple and looking out for your success and that of the nation every day. That's the last time I heard from him. I had planned calling him lately as I wasn't comfortable with his look but I got carried away I guess. Now he's gone forever. Sigh!

"We can't possibly describe his worth to Yorubaland and Nigeria as a whole. Like that of Prof. Abubakar Momoh, his sudden departure is so tragic and painful to me as a person; he's done so much and we will continue to remember his good works and his thoughts too. May God give the family he left behind, required strength to bear the loss.

"Rest In Power.

Red Salute Egbọn." - Akinloye NG, a Legislative Expert and Public Affairs Commentator, on the passing of Yinka Odumakin, a Social Crusader and Spokesman of Yoruba group, Afenifere.
